Front Spats for MX5 NB2/NBFL

Aerodynamic air deflectors (also known as tire spats, canards or dive planes), specifically designed and engineered to fit the curvy sides of the NB2/NBFL bumper.

Why you need it:

These work by manipulating the airflow around the vehicle to improve aerodynamic efficiency and performance. By redirecting airflow around the front wheels and along the sides of the vehicle, they shield the front face of the tire and help to reduce the amount of turbulent air that can build up in the wheel wells, which can in turn create drag. By smoothing out airflow in this area, our deflectors can help reduce overall drag on the vehicle. In addition to reducing drag, they can also help increase downforce on the front wheels, improving traction and stability, especially at high speeds or during cornering. 

Our deflectors are crafted through advanced 3D printing technology and are suitable for the OEM front bumper. If you have an aftermarket lip added to your bumper, they will need to be trimmed as appropriate. Can be fitted as is or painted to match the exact shade of your bumper.

*Please note that the spats can be secured by using high-strength automotive double sided tape. However, it is strongly reccomended that you bolt them in for the most secure installation. To do so, you will have to drill 5x3mm holes into your bumper.
